About Us
VERMONT FEDERATION
OF REPUBLICAN WOMEN
The Vermont Federation of Republican Women (VFRW) is the state chapter of the National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW), one of the largest grassroots women's organizations in the country, founded in 1938.
The NFRW's mission is to empower women as leaders in political, governmental, and civic arenas. It works to recruit, train, and elect Republican candidates; promote Republican Party principles; inform the public through political education and activity; increase women's effectiveness in good government; and protect electoral integrity.
As Vermont's affiliate, the VFRW brings this national strategy to our state in our own way, aligning with Vermont's tradition of independence. We focus on core Republican values: limited government, fiscal responsibility, lower taxes, protected rights, and school choice.
Our efforts center on equipping women with practical skills—campaign training, policy knowledge, and leadership development—to support candidates and influence local and state outcomes.
We draw on national resources for workshops, strategies, and networks that deliver results. Members build skills to advocate effectively, support campaigns, or run for office.
